Seven Fingers and Counting

One-hundred and ninety-nine days ago I lopped off a finger. I didn't do it the way most people who lose fingers lose theirs. I didn't get mine caught in a saw. Didn't loose it in a woodcutting accident. I lost it in a bicycle accident.

You see, I am what some would call an avid cyclist. Others, who know me a bit better would call me a rabid cyclist. I ride more days out off the year than I don't. Today, during the first snow of the year (8 inches and counting!) I went out and rode. Tomorrow I'll do the same. Some people call me and my riding friends crazy. We would have to agree.

The purpose of this blog is to replace my old college blog (amazingly outdated) and document my life as a crazy cyclist. I'll include reviews of new (and old) gear, ride reports, race reports, and every day rantings in regards to cycling. Oh... and some bike porn for those of you interested.

So enjoy the show.
